Thank you for a great and easy to use product , when I 1st received the product I opened it and was a little nervous about undertaking this process although the directions looked fairly simple. My 1st lock took 2 tries ... the second took 5 minutes and the savings to my family was over a hundred dollars. thank you for a great product.

Just wanted to drop a note to say my experience with your Schlage kit was awesome. I think the first lock took maybe ten minutes, and including pulling the lock from the door, the following ones were maybe five minutes each. What a great idea! I only had the springs pop out on my once, and it was actually really cool to see how that all worked when putting it back together. A bright light and a pair of tweezers, and maybe 5-10 minutes for that fiasco, and we were back in business. I can't say enough how impressed I am with the ease of the system. I've already told friends about it, and will hopefully be
sending some business your way.

Change-a-lock is great stuff. The 1st time took a few minutes but went really quick after.
Great for people who have rentals. Changed 5 locks for $11 bucks. Can't beat it. Thanks.

Just completed the rekeying of 8 cylinders and it couldn't have been easier - took less than 2 hours from start to finish. I wish I had found this product sooner, I have replaced complete locksets in the past. The step by step instructions were very complete and accurate. Great product. I am sure I will be back for more in the future.

Thank you soooooooo much for your product. I changed out 5 locks in under 2 hours and it would have been way faster had I not been going too fast and had the pins fall out on the first one - that's a pain in the butt getting those back in by the way! Anyway, a locksmith would have cost me $140 and taken 1 hour. This cost me $16 and only took an hour longer! Great product, perfect directions, awesome tools. I will DEFINITELY recommend you to anyone I ever come across needing to re-key his locks.

Just a quick note to say thanks for the quick delivery and that the "Defiant" rekey kit worked fine with my BHP locks. The "Defiant" instructions and illustrations were almost identical to my locks.
I was a little anxious working with the first lock but once I got the idea, it was smooth sailing on the others.

Howdy David!
Just want to drop you a line to THANK YOU for your wonderful customer service. The kits arrived today, the day after I ordered, which is Super Fast shipping! The included instructions were exactly what I needed. The color coding of the pins made it real easy to follow. The tools, especially the Follower, made the task much easier.
The first lock took me about 20 minutes to complete, because I didn't use the Follower properly and the springs fell out. (Rookie error!) The next 5 locks took about 7 minutes each. I'm not ready to call myself a locksmith by any means, but I can certainly claim to have rekeyed my own locks thanks to your help.

I purchased your re-keying set abut a week ago and just got around to re-keying my locks. I'm completely impressed with the ease at which I was able to re-key my locks. The instructions are easy to follow and after doing one the rest were a breeze. Even with locks that I did not have the original key for proved easy to re-key. I would recommend this product to any homeowner or do it yourselfer. If I can do it, anyone can.

Just wanted to say thanks so much. Saved me like $140 with someone to come out to re-key my house. Did all 5 locks myself. 2 deadbolts and 3 normal locks. Only problem was the springs and their pins when i removed them and tried to enter it back into the thing there were some extra pins with the springs and i was causing the sping mech not to go down so I just removed it all and started from scratch with the tweezer method. Works awesome. Anyways if you have a section on the website about testimonies just wanted to say you and the folks at changealock ROCK!

We just spoke on the phone about the locks on our house; first off, thanks so much for your taking the time to talk me through things - this is the way customer service should be - kind, helpful, patient and knowledgeable! That said, I just ordered the Titan set for our deadbolts, and you asked me to send you an email so I could get the kwikset instructions to do the front door. This has saved me a ton of money - now, instead of replacing 4 deadbolts and three handle sets; I just have to replace one handle set and one deadbolt - thanks again!

Just to let you know how extremely pleased I am with your CHANGE-A-LOCK product. We have a beach rental house that I had previously paid plenty to have locks "changed". I ordered a Schlage kit with extra keys. It came in 4 days across country. So far I have re-keyed 6 locks. Very easy using your instructions, everything worked just as you said it would. I did 6 locks (3 deadbolt 3 in-handle) in under 3 hours. All the supplied tools were exact for what I needed. Only needed a phillips screwdriver. Thank You again.

Thanks for your product and your help. I had seen this on the internet when my dad bought a new house. He wanted to get new locks, but in an effort to conserve resources, I told him to get them re-keyed. He went to a locksmith who quoted him 150 bucks for two handle locks and one deadbolt! He ended up buying new locks far cheaper.
Your kit was perfect and far more affordable for me. I did 8 locks for slightly more than 10% of the quote my dad got. Two months ago, I bought a double cylinder deadbolt at the HD. They rekeyed it for me there and it was really difficult to use. Only certain keys worked and then you'd have to jiggle it. Your kit works perfectly in this lock and all the others I used it on.

Thanks for a great product, and for putting it on the Internet where I could find it! I got the re-key kit and changed all 12 of my locks this weekend. Other than saving money, I think the best thing about your kit is that I didn’t have to leave my home unlock (for who knows how long) while I went away to get the re-keying done. Thanks again.

I rec’d the Change-a-Lock set yesterday. Changed out 3 locks over my lunch hour, piece of cake even [though] I didn’t keep the “cylinder follower” in place on the first one and had to chase some pins and springs! The Kwikset cylinder has a little spring retainer clip on the outside. Removing that and replacing the pins and springs was quick and easy. Your re-key kit has more than [enough] tools, and all the right color-coded pins to make the job a breeze. And very reasonably priced. And timely shipment.
